On 11/20/2020 @ 1323hr, Hazle Twp RIT was dispatched to assist valley regional Fire at 201 Avalanche Ln for a house fire. VRFR Chief 2 immediately signed on and was advised of fire in the rear of the house and propane tanks exploding. A working fire was found in the rear extending into the house and confirming propane tanks going off. Early tuesday morning, units were dispatched to I81 in the area of exit 141 for a tractor trailer rollover with entrapment. E-3 and Chief 4 arrived to find a tractor trailer rolled over on its side down an embankment-The box was upgraded to bring Sugarloaf rescue and Hazleton City Fire to assist with a rigging system and also extrication. Units operated well over an hour and the driver had minor injuries
At 1817hrs Hazle Twp Fire along with Harwood Fire and medic 11 were dispatched to the 200 block of Humboldt St for a house fire. First arriving engine encountered smoke from the 2nd floor of side "B" and transmitted a working fire, adding Hazleton City for RIT. Around 2pm this date, the Rescue/Engine was requested into Banks Twp, Carbon Co, for a crash with heavy entrapment on Spring Mountain Rd. E3 and Tower 7 went responding and arrived to find multiple fire departments already on scene. The command car went responding and was advised by the Communications Center that an elderly female was possibly trapped. Chief 5 (Zoshak) arrived and reported a one story trailer with smoke showing. Around 10pm friday night, a structure box was dispatched to the 700 block of North St in the Green Ridge section for a reported house fire-9-1-1 was advising multiple calls for a first floor fire. The company was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident at Lofty Road and Mile Hill Road (SR 309) in Kline Twp around 6 PM. McAdoo Chief 49 was advised of a single vehicle crash with a vehicle down an embankment. The call was upgraded to a crash with entrapment which added Hazle Township Fire. While the Engine 2 and Tower 7 operating at a smoke in the building call, 9-1-1 advised of a garbage truck crash with entrapment in the Eagle Rock development. The smoke in the building was found to be burnt food and all units proceeded to Pine Valley Dr and Country Club Dr in the development along with Harwood, Sheppton-Oneida, Nuremburg-Weston, Sugarloaf Rescue and Medic 11. members arrived to find a garbage packer on its passenger side.
